Put the brand
in the room.

Definition of a Party is the biggest house party in Lagos, this year at The Stable, Surulere. 30 December. Every year since 2023. Next up is the next edition, and partner inventory is deliberately small.

one Powering Partner per year. that is the whole point of it.

Lead time matters. Cups, gate builds and content series need to be commissioned well before the night.

The argument

Reach is rented.
Proximity is remembered.

A festival sells you a crowd of thousands standing two hundred metres from a banner. You get impressions. By January nobody can name a single sponsor.

DOP sits in the middle of Detty December, on 30 December — the night Lagos is fullest and the people you want to reach have already decided where they are going.

A house party sells you something a festival structurally cannot: the room. On the close there is no stage, no barricade and nowhere to hide — so there is also nowhere for a brand to be background. Your cup is in the hand. Your drink is the drink. Your name comes out of the booth to people standing three metres away.

And it repeats. Same street, same date, every year — so a partnership compounds instead of resetting.

Who is in the room

The Lagos December crowd: people back in the city for the holidays who pick one house party over ten club nights, plus the friends-of-friends network that a party on a residential close runs on. Everyone is above the legal drinking age.

Ways to partner

Three levels.
One street.

Three sponsorship levels, and category exclusivity available at every one — one drinks brand, one telco, one bank. Ask early if your category matters to you.

Brand questions

Before you ask.

How many sponsors do you take?
Few, on purpose. One Powering Partner a year, and a short list of sponsors beyond that. A close is a small space — putting ten logos on it would make all ten worthless.
Can we have category exclusivity?
Yes, at every level, subject to availability. It is allocated in the order conversations start, so if your category is contested, start early.
What do we get after the night?
The recap film, the photo set, and a report on what actually happened on the close — what people picked up, what got filmed, what got posted.
When do you need us by?
Cups, gate builds, merch and content series all need commissioning well ahead of 30 December. Anything physical needs the longest runway, so the earlier the conversation starts, the more of the menu is still open.
Is there a deck?
Yes. Ask through the form or on WhatsApp and we'll send it over.
Who is the audience, precisely?
Above the legal drinking age, Lagos-based or back in Lagos for December. If you need a demographic breakdown for a sponsorship approval, ask — we'll send what we have from the last edition rather than round numbers up.

The date is fixed.
The room is not.

30 December comes whether or not your brand is in the room. A conversation costs nothing and takes ten minutes.
